Mechanical Inspection Services at Desmeules Chrysler

At Desmeules Chrysler, we’re proud to offer an SAAQ service counter with a range of additional services. Conveniently located off the Laval Ouest highway, we’re easy to access and ready to serve you quickly and efficiently. While we do accept walk-ins, please note that same-day service is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend booking an appointment to minimize your wait time.

Visual Mechanical Inspection

We offer visual mechanical inspections for light vehicles with a GVWR under 4,500 kg, as well as for buses, taxis, emergency vehicles, driving school cars, Uber vehicles, and Amazon delivery vehicles.

What Is a Mechanical Inspection?

A mechanical inspection is a visual check of your vehicle’s key components, carried out by an inspector authorized by the SAAQ. Please note that no parts of the vehicle are disassembled during this process.

Services for All Drivers

Even if you’re not one of our regular customers, we’ll gladly assist you with your vehicle inspection. However, it’s important to note that SAAQ inspections cannot be requested by the client directly. They must be required by the SAAQ, or apply to modified, transformed, or self-built vehicles. If that applies to your vehicle, we’re here to help. You’ll receive the necessary documentation to obtain your license plate from the SAAQ.

Additional Services

In addition to mechanical inspections, we offer photometric testing and technical expertise for transformed, modified, or self-built vehicles.

Please note that we do not conduct inspections on severely damaged vehicles.
